The CONFIDENTIAL6G consortium held a highly successful project meeting on May 22–23, 2024, hosted by NetsLab at University College Dublin (UCD). This gathering marked a significant milestone in the journey towards advancing 6G technology, with participants engaging in insightful discussions and collaborative planning focused on security, efficiency, and innovation.

Day 1: Strategic Insights and Collaborative Discussions
The first day opened with a warm welcome from UCD, setting a positive tone for the event. WINGS presented a comprehensive overview of the project’s progress, outlining key achievements and future steps. NOKIA followed with an update on the Confidential Toolkit, showcasing tools aimed at enhancing security and performance in 6G networks. VTT’s session on Confidential Computing highlighted advanced strategies to protect data privacy and integrity, while NNF explored innovative approaches in Confidential Networking to secure communications. The day concluded with a social dinner at the Old Mill Restaurant, providing a relaxed atmosphere for networking and team-building.

Day 2: Practical Applications and Future Directions
The second day was dedicated to practical applications and strategic planning. TID led discussions on use cases, demonstrating the potential of 6G innovations across various industries. ZEN’s session emphasized the importance of dissemination, standardization, and exploitation to maximize the impact of project outcomes. The meeting was wrapped up by WINGS, with closing remarks that highlighted the progress made and set clear goals for the next phases of the project.
