Charuka Moremada is a PhD student at UCD, School of Computer Science. His research is mainly focusing on integration of Generative AI enhanced security for future communication networks (Beyond 5G/6G) in the context of ORAN. Furthermore, he is working as the project manager of ENSURE-6G EU project as well. 

Before joining UCD/Netslab as a PhD student he has earned his masters from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium (Master in Applied Sciences and Engineering: Applied Computer Science – Specialization: Digital Health). Furthermore, he has graduated from University of Ruhuna, Galle, Sri Lanka (Bachelor of the Science of Engineering – specialization: Electrical and Information Engineering). Moreover, he was previously working as a Lecturer (Probationary) in the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna as well where he has gained teaching experience specially in Machine Learning and AI related subjects
